Stora Hotellet is housed in an impressive 19th century building. The hotel is centrally located in the eastern part of the city centre, with easy access to Resecentrum and other public transport. Shopping and restaurants are right outside the door.

Location

Stora Hotellet is located right by the pier on Lake Vättern. It is within comfortable walking distance of the train station, just 200 metres away. Jönköping Axamo Airport is only 9 kilometres away and can be reached in about 15 minutes by car or taxi.

Just outside the hotel you will find Piren, a popular spot during spring and summer. From here you can take a walk along Lake Vättern towards Vätterstranden, or buy an ice cream and enjoy it on what is said to be Sweden’s longest bench on the pier.
